Community Development

.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our families here in Central City New Orleans. Community Development accomplishes this through affordable housing, job-training, and financial education.

Pre-Katina 80% or our community was renter occupied. We believe home-ownership provides stability for families, and the neighborhood. Job training and financial education increase a families chance of purchasing their own home.

Our partnerships with the Hoffman Triange Neighborhood Association, Castle Rock Community Church, Bridge Project (job training), and CrossRoads Mission (affordable housing) make our goals possible.

Community Development is one part of a holistic approach to creating a neighborhood where kids can ride their bikes.  For more information contact Michael Robinson at 504-523-5556 or click here for e-mail.
